Minimum Profile
The minimum recommended workstation profile for running PLAXIS LE CONNECT Edition is:
| Processor | Intel® or AMD® processor 1.0 GHz or greater. PLAXIS LE is not supported on a CPU that does not support SSE2. |
| Memory | 4 GB minimum, 8 GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, particularly when working with larger models. |
| Hard Disk | 2 GB free disk space. More space is strongly recommended based on the number of models to be created. |
| Video | See the graphics card manufacturer for latest information on OpenGL drivers. 512 MB of video RAM or higher is recommended, and a dedicated GPU is strongly recommended for 3D. Support for OpenGL 3.3 or later is recommended. If insufficient video RAM or no graphics card supported by OpenGL can be found, PLAXIS LE attempts to use software emulation. For optimal performance, graphics display color depth should be set to 24-bit or higher. When using software emulation or a color depth setting of 16-bit, some inconsistencies will be noted. |
